Brothers and Sisters,

Did you know that St. Valentine is the patron saint of epilepsy? That little fact kinda spun my head the other day. As we roll towards the weekend, I thought we’d release a couple of love songs to get you in the mood.

Today’s single, “Worship” b/w “Slow Doe” is a pair of romantic songs by the electrified troubadour rock duo, Small Awesome. You met Jim MacGregor and I last week. Happy to be here again.

“Worship” is a studio recording that was released on a limited edition of 200 vinyl compilation called the Lake of Fake. LoF is an eight LP subscription series, and it’s basically all sold out. “Worship” was our contribution to number 6, and a lot of what I’ve been doing with regards to this benefit is built on what I’ve learned from them. The b-side, “Slow Doe” is a live version we played at Chicago’s finest cafe/restaurant, Kitchen Sink. Go eat there.

see you tomorrow!
