BNS 025 "Slow Burn" b/w "Home"

by Sam Razi with the Paradox + illco

Brothers and Sisters,

This one's fun. It's an honor to introduce my brother, Sameer Razi and his wonderful friends in the live band, the Paradox and the rap group, illco. "Slow Burn" by Sam Razi with the Paradox is about history and maintaining a sense of it. It made me supremely happy when I first cranked it up.

"Home" by illco is from history, and was recorded in my parents' basement many moons ago. The chorus cracks me up to this day, and maybe it's Not Safe for Work (?). Either way, it's a stone party classic along the lines of MC Seat's "(Everybody Gettin' Stupid In) Cancún", and Blain K. Banker's "No Dookie Style", and a bunch of other underground ish you haven't heard.
